This is a short version of a paper published in Uddin and Chowdhory 2019, Springer. In this article, the author discusses the importance of camp. He points towards the sustained importance of the camp as a space for refugees in receiving assistance and protection. Though short-term problems in the camps are not food and health issues, it also includes some basic amenities like water, sanitation, security, etc.
