Description | World War II cartoon shows the ghostly face of a terrified Hitler in the smoke of a fire which burns a book titled "Mein Kampf" and a woman's high-heeled shoe. In April 1945, as the Allied forces closed in on Berlin, Hitler dictated his will and his Political Testament, and then both he and his wife, Eva Braun, committed suicide. At Hitler's direction, the bodies were burned outside the bunker where he had spent his last days. Pease suggests that Hitler's evil philosophy, contained in his book Mein Kampf, will be destroyed along with the dictator. |
