Description | Single panel comic strip shows a woman on the front porch of her home welcoming the music teacher and indicating that she thinks Johnny is ready. Johnny, who has other ideas of how to welcome, stands on the porch roof, preparing to shove off a huge pile of snow. Toonerville Folks, drawn from ca. 1913 until 1955, featured denizons of Toonerville, a small town located somewhere between country and city, and featuring most notably the Toonerville Trolley, an ancient contraption, still remembered long after the strip's demise. |
