Content Provider | WatchKnowLearn |
---|---|
Description | This computer animation gives facts about the honey bee. Shows the process of drinking nectar, the internal process in the honey stomach of the bee, and the regurgitation of the honey into the honeycomb cell. Some of the key words addressed in this video are worker bee, nectar, abdomen, inversion, regurgitation, fructose, glucose and cells. This is a teaching resource for a science unit/lesson on insects and/or flowers. It would also work well in conjunction with a basal/story about bees and certainly helps to build background knowledge. |
