Description | This video explains rules for stress on syllables and written accents. The instructor teaches two simple rules. (1) When a word ends in A,E,I O, U, N, or S then stress the second-to-last syllable. (2) When the word ends in L, Z, D, or R then stress on the final syllable. Several examples are provided.
