Description | How to accommodate individual freedom in a free society increasing occupied Sartre. In much of the 50’s he tried to reconcile the individualist philosophy of Existentialism with the collective vision of Marxism. In 1964, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for Literature. He refused the award. In May 1968, French students rebelled protests, they made Sartre their leader. He wanted to help them. This video is for high school students, some parts have subtitles. |
