Description | Could We Have a Second Home on Mars? Planet Earth has been our home for millennia, but we now understand that the future of the human race cannot be guaranteed if we're all cramped on one planet. As we set our sights on the stars in search of a second home, we consider our celestial neighbor, Mars...would it be a good candidate for Earth 2.0? Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy the video! One little note: In the video I say Mars is our closest neighbor, which is obviously not the case (Venus is closer). What I should have said is that Mars is the our closest neighbor worth working on with our current technology. While Venus is closer, it's very hot, and it's arguably easier to warm a planet up than to cool it down and keep it cool. |
