Aliens in my Orchids - Timelapse Strange Earth Lifeforms
| Content Provider | WatchKnowLearn |
|---|---|
| Description | Sometimes, we can find the strangest forms of life right here on Earth, without any Sci-Fi extra-terrestrial magic! While making these time-lapsed image sequences of Phalenopsis Orchids (also called "Moth" Orchids), I was surprised to see what looked like a little face staring out at me from inside the blossom as it opened! It was an odd-shaped, almost bird-like face with two large alien-looking eyes. Students will enjoy these beautiful, real life images. This is a great resource to help build background knowledge and to help make real world connections between nature and the classroom. |
