Description	This is the second chapter of the Biology book for Standard 11 (semester II). This chapter deals with the plant morphology. When the young plants grow and the vegetative parts mature, flowers make their appearance. The arrangement of flowers on the rachis is called inflorescence. A typical flower consist of four whorls- calyx, corolla, androecium and gynoecium. Based on the origin and development, three kinds of fruits occur – simple, aggregate and composite.
