Description	यह वीडियो व्याख्यान स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग, छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार द्वारा आयोजित कक्षा १२ के इतिहास पुस्तक से "वंघुत्व जाति तथा वर्ग'' नामक अध्याय पर आधारित है। महाभारत जिसे अब तक महाकाव्य की दृष्टिकोण से पढ़ा गया है, प्रस्तुत पाठ्यांश में उसे ऐतिहासिक दृष्टिकोण से समझाया गया है। ६०० ई के पूर्व से लेकर ६०० ई तक के १२०० वर्ष का इतिहास है जिस में अनगिनत महत्वपूर्ण विषयों की जैसे विषय वस्तु, नाटक, काव्य, कथा,भाषा आदि की जानकारी दी गयी है। प्रस्तुत अध्याय पुनरावृत्ति का है अतः प्रश्नोत्तर के माध्यम से महाभारत ग्रन्थ का साहित्यिक विश्लेषण किया गया है। अध्याय के प्रारम्भ में ब्लू-प्रिंट तथा अंत में पाठ के कठिन शब्द और संभावित प्रश्नों पर पुनरावृत्ति की गई है। This video lecture conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Chhattisgarh is based on the chapter ''Caste and Class'' from the History Book of class XII. The Mahabharata, which has so far been read from the perspective of the epic, has been explained in the present text from the historical point of view. There is a history of 1200 years from before 600 BC to 600 AD, in which information about innumerable important topics like theme, drama, poetry, story, language etc. The blue-print at the beginning of the chapter and at the end of the lesson difficult words and possible questions are repeated with their respective answers for revision purpose.
