He delivered this historic speech in favor of science at the first session of the Free Association for the Development and Propagation of Positive Science in 1917 during the Kerensky Provisional Government. This article is a Bengali translation of the English translation of the 272 nd issue of Nature. Gorky's 110th birthday is commemorated here.
