Description | জড় পদার্থ হইতে জীবের পার্থক্য এই যে, জড় শুধু ক্রমাগত জারিত ও শক্তিহীন হইয়া চলিয়াছে, পুনরায় শক্তি অর্জন করিবার কোন প্রক্রিয়া তাহার আয়ত্তে নেই। জীবনের পুনরাবৃত্তির জন্য যে প্রয়োজন অঙ্গার, হাইড্রোজেন, অক্সিজেন, নাইট্রোজেন প্রভৃতি পরমাণুর একত্র সমাবেশ তা এই প্রবন্ধে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। জড় হইতে জৈব পদার্থ সৃষ্টির মধ্যে দিয়া সূর্যালোকের একটিমাত্র বিশাল ধারা যে জীবনের ভাণ্ডারে শক্তির যোগান দিয়া চলিয়াছে তাহা এই প্রবন্ধে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। পত্রহরিৎ এর সাহায্যে ফাটোসিন্থেসিসের মাধ্যমে জৈব পদার্থ উৎপাদনের প্রক্রিয়া ও এই প্রবন্ধে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। পত্রহরিৎ আগে না ফটোসিন্থেসিস আগে তা বিজ্ঞানী ভ্যান নীল প্রস্তাবিত ব্যাক্টেরিয়াঘটিত ফটোসিন্থেসিস ও কেমোসিন্থেসিস এর মাধ্যমে যে সমাধান হয়েছে তাও এই প্রবন্ধে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। The difference between an inanimate object and a living object is that inanimate matter is simply constantly oxidized and powerless, and it has no control over the process of regaining energy. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT).
