Description	বিশ্বব্যাপী জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধির সাথে সাথে স্বাভাবিকভাবেই জ্বালানি কাঠের চাহিদা বাড়ছে । ফলে পাল্লা দিয়ে বাড়ছে অরণ্যনিধন যজ্ঞ , যার প্রভাব মারাত্মকভাবে পরিবেশের উপর পড়তে শুরু করেছে । বর্তমানে তাই জ্বালানি-কাঠের ঘনত্ব বৃদ্ধি করতে নানারকম পদ্ধতি আবিষ্কৃত হয়েছে যাতে চাহিদামত জ্বালানি-কাঠের সরবরাহ অক্ষুন্ন থাকে আবার পৃথিবীও না বৃক্ষশূন্য হয়ে পড়ে । এই প্রবন্ধে জ্বালানি-কাঠ সম্পর্কিত নানা বিষয়ে আলোকপাত করা হয়েছে । Demand for fuel wood is naturally increasing as the global population grows. As a result, deforestation is on the rise, with devastating effects on the environment. At present, various methods have been invented to increase the density of fuel wood so that the supply of fuel wood as per the demand remains intact and as well as the earth does not become treeless. This article focuses on various issues related to fuel wood.
