Description	পৃথিবীতে ভূ-তাপশক্তির ওপর সবচেয়ে বেশি নির্ভরশীল দেশটি হল আইসল্যান্ড। পৃথিবীর ভেতরের উত্তাপের নাগাল পেতে গেলে যেতে হবে এমন সব জায়গায় যেখানে উচ্চ তাপমাত্রায় উষ্ণ প্রস্রবণ আছে অথবা ভূ-পৃষ্ঠের খুব কাছেই পাওয়া যাবে এমন অঞ্চল যেখানে ম্যাগমা ওঠে এসে জমে থাকায় ফলে একটা উচ্চচাপ অঞ্চল সৃষ্টি হয়। পৃথিবীর অধিকাংশ উন্নত দেশেই ভূ-তাপশক্তি চালিত কেন্দ্র স্থাপিত হয়েছে। কিন্তু ভারতে এ ধরনের প্রকল্প এখনও গবেষণা ও পরিকল্পনার স্তরেই রয়েছে। সৌরশক্তির মত এই শক্তিকেও কাজে লাগানোর কথা এই প্রবন্ধে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। Iceland is the world's most dependent on geothermal energy. In order to reach the inner heat of the earth, to go the places where hot springs at high temperatures or the areas where the magma rises and accumulates very close to the surface of the earth. Most of the developed countries of the world have geothermal power plants. But in India, such projects are still at the research and planning stage. This article discusses how to use geothermal power energy as like solar energy.
