Description	এই প্রবন্ধে আচার্য জগদীশচন্দ্র বসুর জীবনী নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। ১৮৫৮ খ্রিস্টাব্দের ৩০ শে নভেম্বর ঢাকা জেলার বিক্রমপুরে তিনি জন্মগ্রহন করেন। ছোটবেলা থেকেই পশুপাখির উপর তার স্বাভাবিক আকর্ষণ ছিল। জগদীশচন্দ্র বসুর জীবন গঠনের উপর সেন্ট জেভিয়ার্স কলেজের অধ্যাপক ফাদার লাঁফোর কথাও এখানে আলোচিত হয়েছে। বিলেতে পড়াশোনার পর কলকাতা প্রেসিডেন্সি কলেজের অধ্যাপক পদে নিযুক্ত হন। ঈথর তরঙ্গের দিক পরিবর্তনের উপর গবেষণার জন্য লন্ডন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তাকে ডি. এস. সি উপাধিতে ভূষিত করেন। এরপর বেতার তরঙ্গের উপর গবেষণা ত্যাগ করিয়া জড় বস্তুর প্রাণ অনুসন্ধানে নিজেকে নিযুক্ত করেন। ১৯১৯ সালে তিনি কলকাতায় বসু বিজ্ঞান মন্দির প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। উদ্ভিদ দেহে স্নায়ুর অস্তিত্ব সম্বন্ধেও তিনি প্রথম আলোকপাত করেন। বিজ্ঞান গবেষণা ছাড়াও তার সৃষ্ট সাহিত্যও আমাদের কাছে অমূল্য সম্পদ। The article discusses the biography of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose. He was born on 30th November 1858 at Bikrampur district in Dhaka. From an early age he was attracted to the animal. Professor Father Lanfo of St Xavier's College has an huge impact on the the life of Jagadish Chandra Bose is also discussed here. After studying in abroad, he was appointed professor of the Calcutta Presidency College. The University of London awarded him a D. S. C awarded for his reseach on Ethereal Wave. He then abandoned his research on radio waves and engaged himself in the search for the life of objects. He founded the Basu Vigyan Mandir in Calcutta in 1919. He also first discovered on the existence of nerves in the plant body. Apart from his research on science, his literature is also an invaluable asset to us.
