| Abstract | We study a monodimensional stationary system coupling a simplified thermohydraulic model to a simplified neutronic model based on the diffusion approximation with one energy group. We observe that this non-linear coupled model can be studied under two points of view and we show that solving this model is equivalent to the resolution of a non-linear scalar autonomous ordinary differential equation of order 1. As a consequence, it is possible to obtain an explicit solution without using an iterative coupling algorithm solving successively the thermohydraulics and the neutronics. Moreover, we obtain an analytic solution in a simple case. The explicit results obtained with our analytical solutions confirm the numerical results obtained with the iterative classical thermohydraulics–neutronics algorithm.Nous étudions un système stationnaire monodimensionnel couplant un modèle simplifié de thermohydraulique à un modèle simplifié de neutronique dans l’approximation par la diffusion à un groupe en énergie. Nous montrons que ce modèle de couplage non-linéaire peut être abordé sous deux angles différents et qu’il peut être ramené à la résolution d’une équation différentielle ordinaire non-linéaire scalaire autonome d’ordre 1. Il est ainsi possible d’obtenir une solution explicite sans passer par un algorithme itératif résolvant successivement la thermohydraulique et la neutronique. De plus, nous obtenons une solution analytique dans un cas simple. Les résultats explicites obtenus avec nos solutions analytiques confirment les résultats numériques obtenus avec l’algorithme itératif classique de couplage thermohydraulique–neutronique. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
