Abstract	Der GroßammonitPuzosia dibleyi (Spath) wird anhand zahlreicher Neufunde aus demPuzosia-Event I (Metoicoceras geslinianum-Zone, oberstes Ober-Cenoman) von Halle/Westfalen (NW-Deutschland) systematisch neu bearbeitet. Während der Ontogenese verändert sich die Schalenskulptur beiPuzosia dibleyi (Spath) in Form einer Schaltrippenreduzierung. Es lassen sich bei adulten Exemplaren drei Ökotypen mitPuzosia dibleyi (Spath) var.tenuicosta n. var.,Puzosia dibleyi (Spath) var.crassicosta n. var. undPuzosia dibleyi (Spath) var.spinosus n. var. unterscheiden. Die Wohnkammerskulptur dieser hemibenthischen Desmoceratiden, ist fazies- bzw. habitatabhängig. Feinberippte Formen kennzeichnen die Rampenfazies des tiefen Schelfes, grobberippte sind typisch für den Bereich der Hangfazies des mitteltiefen Schelfes und bedornte für submarine Schwellen. Diese großen Puzosiiden traten ausschließlich zur Zeit desPuzosia-Events I im gesamten borealen Nordseebecken auf.The giant ammonitePuzosia dibleyi (Spath) is revised systematically on basis of many actual findings out of thePuzosia-Event I (Metoicoceras geslinianum Zone, uppermost Upper Cenomanian) from Halle/Westphalia (NW-Germany). During ontogeny, the shell sculpture ofPuzosia dibleyi (Spath) changed significantly in morphology with the reduction of intercalating ribs. Three different eco types of adult individuals can be distinguished:Puzosia dibleyi (Spath) var.tenuicosta n. var.,Puzosia dibleyi (Spath) var.crassicosta n. var. andPuzosia dibleyi (Spath) var.spinosus n. var. The body chamber of this large hemibenthic Desmoceratids seems to be influenced by different types of facies which they inhabitated. Finely ribed ecotypes were present on the ramp facies in the deeper shelf, coarse ribed varieties are typical for slope environments of the middle deep shelf, and spine wearing forms occurred in the facies of submarine swells. This large Puzosiids, showing those different variaties, are limited exclusively to thePuzosia-Event I, settling the entire boreal North-Sea basin.
