Abstract	New zapodids from 36 fossil horizons from 22 profiles in the Valley of Lakes (Central Mongolia) are described:Tatalsminthus khandae n. gen. n. sp.,Heosminthus minutus n. sp.,Shamosminthus sodovis n. sp.,Shamosminthus sp.,Heterosminthus firmus Zazhigin & Lopatin 2000,Heterosminthus cf.firmus Zazhigin & Lopatin 2000,Heterosminthus mongoliensis Zazhigin & Lopatin 2000, andHeterosminthus gansus Zheng 1982.T. khandae, H. minutus andS. sodovis, S. sp. were recovered from brick red silt and clay of the Hsanda Gol Formation from below and above basalt I (dated at 31.5 Ma.$^{40}$Ar/$^{39}$Ar). The age is Early Oligocene. Silts and sands of the Loh Formation yielded the zapodidsH. firmus, H. cf.firmus, H. mongoliensis andH. gansus ranging from the Late Oligocene to the Late Miocene (tab. 1).Die neu beschriebenen ZapodidaeTatalsminthus khandae n. gen. n. sp.,Heosminthus minutus n. sp.,Shamosminthus sodovis n. sp.,Shamosminthus sp.,Heterosminthus firmus Zazhigin & Lopatin 2000,Heterosminthus cf.firmus Zazhigin & Lopatin 2000,Heterosminthus mongoliensis Zazhigin & Lopatin 2000 undHeterosminthus gansus Zheng 1982 wurden von 36 Fossilhorizonten aus 22 Profilen im „Tal der Gobiseen“ in der Zentral-Mongolei gesammelt. T.khandae, H. minutus, S. sodovis, S. sp. stammen aus ziegelroten Silten und Tonen der Hsanda Gol Formation, die den Basalt I (radiometrisches Alter von 31,5 Millionen Jahren) unter- und überlagern. Das Alter ist Unter-Oligozän.H. firmus, H. cf.firmus, H. mongoliensis undH. gansus stammen aus Silten und Sanden der Loh Formation, deren Alter vom Ober-Oligozän bis zum Ober-Miozän reicht (Tab. 1).
