Abstract	A collection of deep-sea pandalids from the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, collected by the Research VesselsSONNE, VALDIVIA, andMETEOR between 1977 and 1987, is described. The collection comprises three species of the genusHeterocarpus: H. dorsalis Bate 1888,H. gibbosus Bate 1888 andH. tricarinatus tricarinatus Alcock & Anderson 1894, and eigth of the genusPlesionika: P. adensameri (Balss 1914),P. alcocki (Anderson 1896),P. bifurca Alcock & Anderson 1894,P. minor Calman 1939,P. narval (Fabricius 1787),P. persica (Kemp 1925),P. quasigrandis Chace 1985, andP. reflexa (Chace 1985). Of these,P. minor andP. reflexa have not been recorded from the area before. Several rather unknown species ofPlesionika have been fully described.Eine Sammlung von Tiefsee-Pandaliden aus dem Roren Meer und dem Golf von Aden, die mit den ForschungsschiffenSONNE, VALDIVIA undMETEOR von 1977 bis 1987 zusammengetragen wurde, wird vorgestellt. Die Sammlung umfaßt drei Arten der GattungHeterocarpus: H. dorsalis Bate, 1888,H. gibbosus Bate, 1888 undH. tricarinatus tricarinatus Alcock & Anderson 1894, und acht der GattungPlesionika: P. adensameri (Balss 1914),P. alcocki (Anderson 1896),P. bifurca Alcock & Anderson 1894,P. minor Calman 1939,P. narval (Fabricius 1787),P. persica (Kemp 1925),P. quasigrandis Chace 1985, undP. reflexa (Chace 1985). Von diesen warenP. minor undP. reflexa bisher noch nicht aus dem Gebiet bekannt. Einige weniger bekanntePlesionika—Arten werden vollständig beschrieben.
