| Abstract | Parmi les technologies alternatives à l’assainissement urbain, les chaussées poreuses occupent une place prépondérante. Cependant, le béton de ciment poreux et drainant, à cause de sa mauvaise tenue mécanique est très peu utilisé comme couche de roulement dans la construction des chaussées poreuses urbaines (C.P.U.).Cette étude montre qu’en s’intéressant aux interactions entre les propriétés de la matrice de ciment et de celles du béton, on met en évidence les variables dont dépendent la tenue mécanique du béton de ciment poreux.La recherche des valeurs optimales pour ces variables va nous conduire au choix: d’un granulat silico-calcaire comme squelette du béton d’un liant pouzzolanique comme matrice de ciment et surtout d’un adjuvant approprié afin de mettre au point une formulation de béton de ciment poreux et drainant utilisable en couche de roulement de chaussée. Porous road surfaces are of primary importance amongst the various alternative technologies for urban drainage. However, porous cement concrete, due to its bad mechanical behaviour, presents low interest as urban paving surface material in road construction.This paper shows that when interactions between the properties of binder and those of concrete are investigated, all the variables upon which the mechanical behaviour of porous concrete depends are pointed out.The optimisation of these variables allows the following choices: a silico-calcareous aggregate; a pozzolanic binder; an appropriate chemical admixture in order to design a porous and draining cement concrete which could be used as a road pavement layer. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
