| Abstract | Crystal structures of two new compounds containing trigonal tellurium-bridged cluster fragments [Mo$_{3}$(μ$_{3}$-Te)(μ$_{2}$-Te$_{2}$)$_{3}$]$^{4+}$ were investigated. Crystal data for K$_{4.5}${[Mo$_{3}$(μ$_{3}$-Te)(μ$_{2}$-Te$_{2}$)$_{3}$(CN)$_{6}$]I}I$_{1.5}$·3H$_{2}$O: space group $$P\bar 3c1$$ , Z = 4, a = 13.280(1), c = 23.800(3) Å, V = 3635.0(6) Å$^{3}$, d $_{ calc }$ = 3.432 g/cm$^{3}$, R $_{ 1 }$ = 0.0335, wR2 = 0.0912 for 1378 I $_{ hkl }$ > 2 σ$_{I}$ from 3545 measured I $_{ hkl }$; for Cs$_{3}${[Mo$_{3}$(μ$_{3}$-Te)(μ$_{2}$-Te$_{2}$)$_{3}$(CN)$_{6}$]I}·2H$_{2}$O: space group P2 $_{ 1 }$ /n, Z = 2, a= 9.650(2) , b = 22.297(5), c = 27.446(7) Å, β = 94.10(2)°, V = 5890(2) Å$^{3}$, d $_{ calc }$ = 4.273 g/cm $^{3}$, R $_{ 1 }$ = 0.0384, wR $_{ 2 }$ = 0.0744 for 957 I $_{ hkl }$ > 2 σ$_{I}$ from 3758 measured I $_{ hkl }$ (Enraf-Nonius CAD-4 diffractometer, λMoK $_{α}$, graphite monochromator). In both compounds, ionic pairs {[Mo$_{3}$Te$_{7}$(CN)$_{6}$]I}$^{3–}$ with Te$_{ax}$...I$^{–}$ distances of 3.358-3.676 Å are formed. In the potassium salt, the {[Mo$_{3}$Te$_{7}$(CN)$_{6}$]I}$^{3–}$ anion pairs are linked by the additional Te$_{eq}$⋯I$^{–}$ short contacts of 3.460 Å into two-dimensional corrugated layers perpendicular to the c axis of the unit cell. The structure of the cesium salt is ionic with interstitial H$_{2}$O molecules and double-layer closest packing of anions. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
