| Abstract | A. GARRIDO, T. DEL BUSTO, J. TARANCON, M. MARTINEZ, 1978.—Una tecnica para apreciar ensayos inmaduros de Cales noacia Hoaw. (Himenop: Apheunidae). Bol. Serv. Plagas, 4: 35-41. A technique of easy accomplishment is reported. By this technique, dissection of specimens is not necessary, and these are examined by being placed on a black background under direct light, allowing rapid countings of larvae of Aleurothixus Jloccosus Mask. parasited by Cales noacki How., and also to differentiate them from those non parasited, since the moment the parasite lays the egg on the host. The described technique has cleared up some biological aspects of immature stages of Cales noacki How. and its evolution and subsequent evelopment on the host. The technique is also suitable for sex differentiation of the citrus white fly from its fourth larval stage, and for internal genitals examination, as well as the development of oocytes, avoiding the need of using other sophisticated, traditional techniques. |
