| Abstract | In this paper, the design, construction, testing and integration of an automated warehouse of finished product for the flexible manufacturing cell (FMC) acquired by the program of Mechatronics Engineering of the Technological University of Pereira is documented . The flexible manufacturing cell is located in the laboratory Automation & Networking, sited in Parquesoft headquarters in the city of Pereira. The FMC used in this project, is governed by a Siemens 314-2 DP Programmable Logic Controller, which is responsible for commanding all stations of the cell, using PROFIBUS DP protocol. Each station has a PROFIBUS DP slave device, which receives and sends digital signals between each station and the PLC, including the warehouse. Finally, a supervisory control was implemented using a Festo FEC 32 PLC, which is responsible for monitoring and operate the cell externally. The implemented SCADA system uses FESTO PLC, the Festo OPC and Microsoft Excel for control, viewing and information management. |
