| Abstract | Anyone wishing to install a milking parlour and his or her architect should contact the milking machine manufacturer as early as the planning phase. This will allow many assembly and installation errors to be avoided and will save on assembly and annual maintenance costs. The desired values of < 0,3 m/s for vibration and < 70 dB (A) for noise are achievable and the farmer should ensure that they are stipulated in the purchase contract. The manufacturers of AMS should also take steps to ensure that their equipment achieves these values. |
