| Abstract | espanolEn el presente trabajo se aborda el conjunto artefactual litico de la costa norte del golfo San Matias (provincia de Rio Negro) desde una perspectiva macroscopica morfologico-descriptiva. En este sentido, se aplican por primera vez las nociones de �inversion de trabajo� y �clase tecnica� para discernir esfuerzos de manufactura puestos en las diferentes clases artefactuales que integran la muestra bajo estudio. Esta perspectiva se integra con la nocion de riesgo con el fin de relacionar los esfuerzos de manufactura y las condiciones ambientales y de explotacion de recursos en las cuales habrian vivido los grupos que habitaron el area. Ademas, se consideran las distintas materias primas utilizadas para la manufactura de los artefactos. Se concluye que los conjuntos presentan en general una baja inversion de energia en su confeccion, lo cual estaria vinculado con una baja y/o nula conservacion de la materia prima dentro de un contexto de bajo riesgo en la explotacion de los recursos. EnglishIn this paper we study the lithic artifacts of the Northern coast of San Matias Gulf (Rio Negro province) from a morphologic-descriptive macroscopic approach. In this sense, we use the notions of �work investment� and �technique class� for the first time in order to distinguish efforts of manufacture in the making of the different artifact classes that integrate the assemblage. This perspective is integrated with the notion of risk to relate the efforts in the manufacture and the environmental and resource exploitation conditions in which the hunter-gatherers that inhabited the area may have lived. Also, we consider the different lithic raw materials that were used to make the artifacts. We conclude that, in general, the assemblage exhibits a low level of energy investment in its manufacture, which could be related to a low and/or none conservation of lithic raw materials in a context risk�s low level in the resource exploitation. |
