| Abstract | This paper presents a system that allows the interoperability of electronic patient information, which is distributed over many information systems of a health system. In opposition to traditional techniques for information integration, we adopt a semantic-based solution, so that metadata are used to describe the meaning of distributed and heterogeneous patient information, and agents use these metadata to help users to find and operate the patient information. |
