| Abstract | The carbon monoxide contained in O-olefins and Saturated hydrocarbons, in particular O-olefins and C. Saturated hydrocarbons, is removed, by contacting such o-olefins and saturated hydrocarbons, at a temperature ranging from 0 to 150° C., with a catalyst system comprising a mixture and/or the reaction product of: A) one or more oxides of metals selected from the group consisting of Cu, Fe, Ni, Co, Pt, Pd; and B) one or more oxides of metals selected from the group consisting of metals of groups VB, VIB, or VIIB of the Periodic Table; thus reducing the content of carbon monoxide to values lower than 0.03 ppm. |
