Abstract	The theme of this vvork is the spatial variations that have occurred in the Chaco, both in agriculture and stockbreeding, over the past four decades. The objective has been to recognize these changes, the factors that induced them and the implications that they have at a territorial leve!. The methodology consisted in the evolutionary analysis of geographic data, especiallyforestry and agriculture data, using census sources and other sources from different productive sectors, comparing them with satellite data that reveáis the qualitative (and at the same time quantifiable) evolution of land uses during said period. The preparation of maps and graphics has rnade it possible to clearly show the problems studied. The results show the phenomenon of relocation experienced by the primary activities considered. The analysis of those results has made it possible to reach some conclusions about the causes, State of the process, implications and perspectives of the changes carried out in the territory.
