| Abstract | En Cuba, el objetivo supremo de la educacion es proporcionar a los ninos, una formacion plena que les permita integrarse a la vida y conformar su propia cultura e identidad. Esta aspiracion se extiende a los ninos con Necesidades Educativas Especiales Intelectuales (NEEI), en cuya integracion la familia tiene una participacion activa; sin embargo, no siempre lo logra, debido a que no esta suficientemente preparada. Le corresponde, por tanto, al profesional de la Educacion Especial trabajar en funcion de la capacitacion de esta familia para que garantice el desarrollo integral de estos ninos. En la presente ponencia se le ofrece al profesional de la Educacion Especial una estrategia pedagogica que facilita el trabajo con la familia de los ninos con Necesidades Educativas Especiales del contexto rural, del municipio Pilon, provincia Granma. THE PREPARATION OF THE PROFESSIONAL OF THE SPECIAL EDUCATION FOR THE WORK WITH THE FAMILY OF THE CHILDREN WITH NECESSITIES EDUCATIONAL SPECIAL INTELLECTUALS ABSTRACT In Cuba, the supreme objective of the education is to provide to the children, a full formation that allows them to be integrated to the life and to conform its own culture and identity. This aspiration expands to the children with Necessities Educational Special Intellectuals in whose integration the family has an active participation; however, it not always achieves it, because it is not sufficiently prepared. It corresponds, therefore, to the professional of the Special Education to work in function of the training of this family so that it guarantees the integral development of these children. In the present report, the authors offer the professional of the Special Education a pedagogic strategy that facilitates the work with the family of the children with Special Educational Necessities of the rural context, of the municipality Pylon, county Granma.
