Abstract	Nesse artigo examinamos como as migracoes contribuem para re-arranjos das relacoes familiares e sociais, alem da construcao de novas identidades. Trata-se de uma reflexao acerca do mundo contemporâneo em uma analise sobre os sentidos de ser classificado como migrante e/ou estrangeiro, em um processo de construcao de estrategias que marcam a vivencia cotidiana. As relacoes entre migrantes de diferentes paises, e a construcao de espacos de sociabilidade marcados pela diversidade revelam identidades e percepcoes acerca das relacoes de conflito, solidariedades, alteridades entre o eu (clandestino) e o outro na cidade. In this article, we examine the way in which migratory flows contribute to a re-negotiation of family and social networks and to the construction of new identities. We embark on a reflection on the contemporary world and an analysis of meanings surrounding the process of being classified as a stranger-Other and the related strategies that mark processes of everyday life for migrants. The relationship between migrants from different countries and the related construction of spaces of sociability marked by diversity reveal identities and perceptions negotiated around relations of conflict, solidarity, and alterity between the clandestine I and the other in the city.
