| Abstract | The electrical resistance of the soil has been used as one of the variations that correlate with soil attributes. This study aimed the evaluation of an electrical resistance sensor of contact and the verification of correlation between the electrical resistance measurements with physical properties of sand, silt and clay. The data were submitted to the analysis of correlation and geostatistics. The surface maps were generated from each soil parameter though the kriging technique. The purpose of the maps was to assist in the analysis of correlations between variables. The electrical resistance sensor was capable to measure the variation of soil electrical resistance. The obtained measurements were satisfactorily correlated with clay and sand levels. This demonstrated the possibility to use the sensor to verify soil texture in not homogeneous |
