| Abstract | One of the main problems for canola cultivation in Brazil is weeds. The domestic market does not have registered and selective herbicides for post-emergence canola, nor is there information on the weed interference period. In this way weed interference periods were determined in the canola crop. The experimental design used was the subdivided plots, where the plots represented the interference models (control and conviviality) and the subplots, eight interference periods. Ten plants were collected from the central lines of each plot to evaluate the biometric and productive parameters, which were: plant height; stem diameter and number of syllables. No influence of interference models and periods on plant height was observed, nor the interaction of these variation factors. Living with weeds negatively affected the stem diameter and number of syllables of canola plants. Unable to determine crop yield. For the number of syllables, a Pre-Interference Period (PAI) of 8 DAE, a Total Interference Prevention Period (PTPI) of 23 DAE and a Critical Interference Prevention Period (PCPI) of 15 DAE were observed. |
