| Abstract | My thesis concentrates on the design and implementation of an extended set of coordination mechanisms, the integration of planning and scheduling processes by updating intelligent agent’s internal architecture and inserting a novel coordination module, and the formal representation of this problem with extended Hierarchical Task Networks (HTNs). I demonstrate the effectiveness of the mechanisms by the modeling of various domains, e.g., emergency medical services (EMS), the application of the mechanisms to those domains, and finally the extraction of facts and rules based on the experiments. |
