| Abstract | Metaphire posthuma and Eisenia foetida were selected as experimental material to study the two earthworm species effect on soil properties and soil erodibility. Metaphire posthuma and Eisenia foetida both can improve soil structure, and soil porosity. However, they have no effect on soil pH and reduce organic matter content. Furthermore, Eisenia foetida can increase infiltration, and reduce soil erosion. However, Metaphire posthuma’s ability of increasing infiltration are not significant, and increased soil erosion due to higher initial soil moisture. ( |
