| Abstract | Various methods are available for synthesis of solids, the solid may be of various form starting from single crystal, polycrystalline solid to thin film. Depending on the requirement and the availability of facility various methods are adopted. Out of those solid state reactions method is widely adopted for synthesizing required compounds. In addition hydrothermal method, sol-gel technique, vapor phase transport method, ion exchange reaction, electrochemical method, combustion solution and microwave synthesis have put major contribution towards development of novel compounds. |
