| Abstract | espanolEste articulo ofrece algunos apuntes acerca del desarrollo teorico de la sociologia de la literatura atendiendo a la siempre problematica relacion entre obra literaria y contexto social. Analiza asimismo el concepto de campo literario desarrollado por Pierre Bourdieu, como ultimo intento brillante de resolver esa relacion, mostrando como algunas de sus asunciones debilitan su capacidad analitica, y apuesta finalmente por una sociologia de la literatura necesariamente comparativa como la mejor via para establecer un marco teorico solido para la disciplina. EnglishThis article offers some observations about the theoretical development of the sociology of literature, paying special attention to the problematical relationship between literary work and social context. It considers the concept of the literary field elaborated by Pierre Bourdieu, the most recent attempt to resolve that relationship, and shows how some of Bourdieu's assumptions weaken his model. Finally, it argues that a comparative approach is the best way to construct a solid theoretical framework for sociology of literature. |
