Abstract	The present thesis was carried out with the general objective: to determine the condition index of the pavement. The problem: ¿what is the condition index of rigid pavement in the perimeter of the parade ground of the city of San Miguel, province of La Mar, department of Ayacucho in 2019 ?, fieldwork, was supported by the formats (record sheet) of the PCI pavement condition index manual, as a data collection instrument according to the established sampling. The methodology, which was used is of visual inspection, without modifying them, the pavement pathologies. We worked with a total of 55 slabs, which is 100 % existing in the main square of the city of San Miguel. They have been divided into four sample units. Obtaining the following results: sample number 01 that consists of 12 slabs, whose PCI is 77 that indicates very good pavement condition. Sample number 02 of 13 slabs, PCI equal to 71.5 very good condition. Sample number 03 of 12 PCI slabs equal to 67.13 good pavement condition and finally sample number 04 of 18 slabs, whose obtained PCI is 63.13 good pavement condition. By taking an average of PCI from the four sample units, a PCI of 69,625 was obtained, which indicates GOOD pavement condition.
