Abstract	After 45 years of starting as a student in the course of studies on Teaching Physical Education at Universidad Nacional de La Plata, teacher Carlos Parenti is asked about various issues which bring together the past, present and future of the institution. Thus, this interview explores his path as a student and his career as a teacher, his work in teaching and research with Amavet Alejandro, his management as Head of the Department of Physical Education, and the essential facts related to different social, economic and political contexts of Argentina.
