| Abstract | Stroke has as consequence a spastic hemiparesis with impairment of motor functions, as muscle fatigue. The clinical application of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) has brought advances to the treatment of muscular disorders as well as to prevent muscle fatigue. Thus, the aim of this study was to analyze torque pick and lactic acid levels of one hemiparetic subject, after LLLT application. Results showed a reduction in lactate levels, onset of muscle fatigue was delayed and an increasing at torque pick after LLLT, indicating that LLLT can be applied to hemiparetic stroke patient. |
