Diseño económico óptimo para la extracción a cielo abierto de una masa mineral fuera del proyecto minero "Las Cruces"

Abstract	El punto central de este proyecto es la optimizacion economica de la extraccion de una mineralizacion de sulfuros secundarios de cobre denominada HC4. Esta mineralizacion se encuentra en la Mina de Cobre Las Cruces, Espana, y el diseno actual de la corta minera no contempla la explotacion de esta masa mineral. Los calculos para el diseno se basaran en el uso del algoritmo de optimizacion de Lerchs & Grossman, para posteriormente, proceder a realizar un diseno de corta operativo que se ajuste a los datos resultado de dicha optimizacion y dando respuesta a los condicionantes existentes de la mina, actualmente en explotacion. Ademas, se llevara a cabo un estudio economico que evaluara los costes derivados de la extraccion del mineral, tratamiento del mismo, transporte de los distintos materiales y los correspondientes al desplazamiento de instalaciones existentes. ABSTRACT The corner stone of this project is the economical optimization of the extraction of a secondary sulphide ore body, designated as HC4. It is a mineralization that is located at the Cobre Las Cruces Mine, Spain, however, the current pit design does not include the exploitation of this particular ore body. The computation presented in this project are based on the Lerchs & Grossman algorithm, then a new pit design based on the data resulting from this optimization algorithm and the existing constraints of the mine will be provided. In addition to that, will be provided a financial appraisal of the cost involved with the extraction, the processing and the hauling of materials, added with the cost of the displacement of existing infrastructure and facilities falling under the new project perimeter.
