Abstract	This thesis provides an analysis of the integration of mainly leather goods business in the community of San Vicente Ferrer, El Marques, Queretaro, emerging as a form of production developed outside the public policy of regional development, as well as those integrated strategies production that allowed him to become an emerging productive activity and that currently constitutes the main economic hub of the community. It is a qualitative research where a study on the strategies employed by the leather goods producers on the basis of family structure is presented.
