Abstract	Impact of climate conditions on radial increment of three fi r species in Rogów, central Poland. The aim of the study was to investigate and compare the response of native and alien fi r species growing in the same conditions to the impact of climatic factors. The material was collected in Rogow, central Poland. We collected increment cores, one per tree, from healthy and dominant specimens of Abies grandis, A. nordmanniana and A. alba. For each species we sampled 15 trees and later on developed standard chronology. Then we compared the obtained sequences with mean monthly air temperature and precipitation totals at meteorological station in the years 1971-2010. We determined also the pointer years, which were related to the occurrence of extreme climatic conditions. The radial increment of analysed fi r species to a limited extent depended on the temperature and precipitation. Additionally, identifi ed relationships were not stable over time. The only negative pointer year common for all species was caused by exceptionally warm February.
