| Abstract | The development of small scale magnetic flux concentrations, its dynamical interaction with convective flows is investigated through twodimensional simulations of the solar magnetoconvektion (MHD). In the scope of this work a numerical method for solving the radiation transport equation was developed. This method works on two and three dimensional numerical grids and the runtime to error is at least two orders of magnitude larger compared to the conventional method s. The two dimensional simulations of the solar magnetoconvektion was have been carried out with a new developed 2D-MHD Code which works on the base of Riemann solvers for non ideal gases on an adaptive numerical grid. The simulated domain is 1200 km extended in vertical direction and 12000 km in horizontal direction. A homogeneous vertical magnetic field is incorporated. The horizontal convective flows concentrate the magnetic flux in the convective downflow regions. The radiative cooling in the magnetic flux concentrations lead to an amplification of the magnetic field with a resulting field strength of 1-2 kG. The dynamical interaction between the convective flows and the smallscale magnetic flux concentrations show that the external flows affect the convective flow patterns inside the flux concentrations and that they swing with a frequency that originates from the convective time scale. |
