| Abstract | espanolLas casas de migrantes son lugares que dan cobijo y asistencia a la poblacion migrante que, generalmente, no cuenta con papeles para viajar por Mexico en su camino a Estados Unidos y enfrentan diversas dificultades y violencia. Como funcionan y como son, es parte del analisis explicativo que se realizo durante la visita que se hizo a cerca de 10 albergues (casas de migrantes) en el sur y norte del pais. Para esto, se realizo una narrativa de sentido cualitativo tipo ‘diario de campo’; de esta forma el investigador fue testigo y escucha de distintos actores que atienden el fenomeno migratorio de forma frontal, a esto se sumo el permiso de ingresar a instalaciones de distintos albergues. Esta narrativa se dividio en 3 partes: la experiencia metodologica; la descripcion de los albergues rescatando generalidades y particularidades de los mismos y finalmente un analisis a forma de conclusion. simbolico.
