Abstract	This work has as a purpose the study of an exothermic batch reactor based on the mathematical model. The equations describing the dynamic behavior of the studied reactor are defined and the parameters that represent the reactor are selected. The open loop analysis for the modeled system is performed and its control scheme is designed, based on the proportional -integral - derivative traditional algorithm (PID).
