| Abstract | Childhood obesity is an important problem, with prevalence increasing during the last decades in most industrialized countries and in many countries of low development. Obesity is a multifactorial disorder in which genetic and environmental factors interact (Vanhala et al., 2009) and has serious consequences on the physical and mental health.
