| Abstract | This investigation tries to compare the emotional state and the life satisfaction of progenitors, mothers and fathers, of population with and without some disability; in this case, hearing impairment, visual disability, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy and autism spectrum disorder. To do this, we have collected and we have analyzed data and results from the following tests: scale of positive and negative affect PANAS -, coping strategies inventory CSI -, scale of life satisfaction ESV and optimism test LOT-R -. After their analysis, we can concluded that, taking into account the absence or presence of a member with functional diversity, there are significant differences in positive affect, optimism and life satisfaction, which are lower in families of persons with disabilities, and in coping capacity, which is higher in such families. |
