| Abstract | In the recent years participatory budgeting has become a central issue in the local governance debates. This paper analyses one of those experiences, Logrono’s Presupuesto Ciudadano, combining both an empirical part -which collects the main results of the experience evaluation process (a research financed by the Instituto de Estudios Riojanos)- plus a theoretical reflection on the way citizenship has engaged with the so-called local governance, based on several indicators. Besides, a comment on the results of the experience will be provided as a final conclusion. |
