| Abstract | The non-renewable natural resources exploitation in Colombia, has been considered over the past decade as a principal axis in the economic development. However, there are currently many alerts which have been activated in favor of sustainable development and which protect the collective rights more than individual ones, all this caused by the negative effects of the-energy mining and oil exploration on human health, quality of life, poverty, low generation of employment opportunities, among others.
