Abstract	The following research work shows the study and design of a telecommunication network HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) for the company "SUPERCABLEFILS" in the city of Macara, and a detailed description of what do these networks mean, and the actual importance as one of the favorite solutions by cable operators, because these networks may have the capacity to provide a wider service package such as Triple-Play package with broadband Internet, landline and video by subscription solutions that satisfies current beneficiaries so that, it can be the center of a larger market. Beginning with an analysis of the infrastructure that the company “SUPERCABLEFILS” has currently been using such as: the plans and information network of existing equipment. It’s planning a necessary migration to a hybrid network of fiber-optic and coaxial cable, thus it is achieved the best of these two means of transmission, bandwidth and speed, which offer the optical fiber, low prices and ease installation of coaxial cable. The HFC network must be able to perform a bidirectional communication between users and network headboard, as essential requirements to offer triple-play service. This research is based mainly on technical aspects of the HFC network; starting from the network headboard in which was taken into consideration to provide further services. Also, it was analyzed configuration and system administration, indispensable equipment for the design of external network and finishing with the analysis of equipment that must be provided to the user in order to access our services offered by the HFC network.
